I'm gettin mad about this book. I've just finished to read it and I feel a ifferent person. Has anyone read it?

not yet but how did it change you did you find it heavy going...I have always avoided the Russian writers due to the deep tragedy and endless struggle..

I read it years ago and really liked it. It was very poignant and probably more detailed than one needs, but it was stream of conscience writing at its best. I like many of the Russian writers. While many times the writing is dark it is often understated bringing more to the table.
